The following information is originally in Spanish:
The new logo features the main element which is a Trojan warrior adorned with a helmet with a red plume and a yellow cape, in whose left hand he holds a bronze-colored shield and in the upper right hand he carries a luminescent ray. It features the following elements:
• Trojan Helmet: In addition to representing protection, it reinforces the appearance of ferocity that a warrior must convey in order to maintain order, law, and justice.
• Lightning Bolt: Symbolizes the power and strength of attack reserved for the warrior who fights to establish order, law, and justice.
• Wings: Symbolize ascension, the flight of the combat aircraft in pursuit of the victory that allows it to preserve order, law, and justice.
• Trojan Shield: Represents protection for the warrior and also for their comrade, (which) extrapolated to the Colombian Air Force's (FAC) air missions, this would be understood as squadron flying where one never abandons their wing under any circumstances.
• Radar: Represents surveillance, detection, search, and interception of the illegal (air) trace, which will be reduced and/or neutralized.
• Orion Constellation: It watched over the sky of the Cauca Valley on January 15, 2013, the day CACOM No. 7 was created by Ministerial Resolution No. 0084. It also represents the valiant hunter carrying his prey high above. Its bright and recognizable stars serve as an additional guide for fighter pilots on their night missions.
• Enamel Base: Azure and Sable (Dark Blue): (represents) credibility, authority, and perseverance.
Azure (Blue): Represents the vast sky and tranquility.
Gold (Yellow): Represents energy and chivalry.
Gules (Red): Represents power, courage, and fearlessness.
Silver (White): Represents integrity.
Brown: Represents defense, trust, and permanence.
